Détention d'une personne de nationalité étrangère qui est ordonnée si celle-ci n'a pas obtempéré à l'injonction de quitter la Suisse dans le délai prescrit et que la décision entrée en force de renvoi ou d’expulsion ne peut être exécutée en raison de son comportement et qui sert à garantir qu'elle quittera effectivement le pays.

Detention of a foreign national that is ordered when he or she does not fulfil his/her duty to leave Switzerland by the appointed deadline and the legally enforceable return decision or expulsion order cannot be enforced due to his/her personal conduct, the measure serving to ensure that the duty to leave the country is complied with.

Inhaftierung einer ausländischen Person, die angeordnet wird, wenn diese ihre Pflicht zur Ausreise aus der Schweiz innerhalb der ihr angesetzten Frist nicht erfüllt und die rechtskräftige Weg- oder Ausweisung oder die rechtskräftige Landesverweisung aufgrund ihres persönlichen Verhaltens nicht vollzogen werden kann, und die dazu dient, der Ausreisepflicht Nachachtung zu verschaffen.
