Linguistic Context
La nozione di famiglia non ha una definizione uniforme e non ne esistono descrizioni nel diritto positivo. L’articolo 41 capoverso 1 lettera c della Costituzione federale fa riferimento alla famiglia «quale comunità di adulti e bambini» e ne dà dunque una definizione ampia. Nelle sue linee strategiche 2015, la Commissione federale di coordinamento per le questioni familiari (COFF) dà anch’essa della nozione di famiglia una definizione volutamente ampia: «La nozione di famiglia designa le forme di vita fondate sui legami tra genitori e figli che uniscono le generazioni e sono riconosciuti dalla società.»
