EXP: das Ständemehr ist erreicht, wenn die Mehrheit der Kantone [Stände] zugestimmt hat. Die Kantone Obwalden, Nidwalden, Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft, Appenzell Ausserrhoden und Appenzell Innerrhoden haben je eine halbe Standesstimme.

EXP: a mandatory referendum is achieved when the popular vote has been in favour of the proposal in a majority of the cantons. In calculating the majority, the results in the cantons of Obwalden, Nidwalden, Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft, Appenzell Ausserrhoden and Appenzell Innerrhoden each count as half a cantonal vote.
