Offence in which a person, with a view to causing financial loss or damage to the rights of another or in order to obtain an unlawful advantage for himself or another, produces a false document, falsifies a genuine document, uses the genuine signature or mark of another to produce a false document, falsely certifies or causes to be falsely certified a fact of legal significance, or makes use of a false or falsified document in order to deceive.

Infraction commise par une personne qui, dans le dessein de porter atteinte aux intérêts pécuniaires ou aux droits d'autrui ou de se procurer ou de procurer à une tierce personne un avantage illicite, crée un titre faux, falsifie un titre, abuse de la signature ou de la marque à la main réelle d'autrui pour fabriquer un titre supposé, ou constate ou fait constater faussement, dans un titre, un fait ayant une portée juridique, ou encore, pour tromper autrui, fait usage d'un tel titre.

Reato commesso da chiunque, al fine di nuocere al patrimonio o ad altri diritti di una persona o di procacciare a sé o ad altri un indebito profitto, forma un documento falso o altera un documento vero, oppure abusa dell'altrui firma autentica o dell'altrui segno a mano autentico per formare un documento suppositizio, oppure attesta o fa attestare in un documento, contrariamente alla verità, un fatto di importanza giuridica o fa uso, a scopo d'inganno, di un tale documento.
