Das Gentechnologierecht der EU ist zurzeit im Umbruch. Gerade die EU-Richtlinie 90/220/EWG über die absichtliche Freisetzung genetisch veränderter Organismen in die Umwelt soll durch eine neue Richtlinie ersetzt werden, welche die geltende Regelung in verschiedenen Punkten verschärft. Insbesondere sollen eine befristete, an eine verbindliche Überprüfung der Produkte nach ihrem Inverkehrbringen geknüpfte Zustimmung eingeführt, die Etikettierungsvorschriften präzisiert und ausgeweitet [...] werden.
