A l'exception des essais réalisés à des fins de recherche, la culture de plantes génétiquement modifiées est interdite en Suisse. Le moratoire a été reconduit deux fois par le Parlement et devrait prendre fin en décembre 2017.

Der Anbau gentechnisch veränderter Pflanzen ist in der Schweiz verboten. Eine Ausnahme gilt lediglich für Forschungszwecke. Dieses sogenannte Gentech-Moratorium, welches vom Parlament bereits zweimal verlängert wurde, endet im Dezember 2017.
