Linguistic Context
Die neue Regelung enthält auch Anforderungen an die sogenannte „Negativdeklaration": Ein Lebensmittel darf mit dem Hinweis „ohne Gentechnik hergestellt" angeschrieben werden, wenn mit einer lückenlosen Dokumentation bewiesen werden kann, dass das betreffende Produkt keine gentechnisch veränderten Organismen enthält und bei der Produktion keine solchen verwendet wurden.
