Dans les chauffages à bois à combustion inférieure (par ex. chaudière de chauffage central, en règle générale cheminée à tirage par le bas) l’allume-feu est placé et allumé sous le tas de bois à proximité de la sortie du conduit de fumée. Le bois brûle uniformément sur tout l’espace du foyer depuis le bas et produit ainsi de plus faibles quantités d’émissions nocives.

La legna brucia in modo regolare dal basso e vengono emesse così molto meno sostanze nocive.
