EXP: digitale Migration unterscheidet sich von Transfer im Allgemeinen in drei Punkten: einem Fokus auf der Erhaltung des gesamten Informationsgehalts, der Erhaltung benötigt, einer Perspektive, dass die neue archivische Erscheinung der Information ein Ersatz für die alte ist und dem Verständnis, dass die volle Kontrolle und Verantwortung über alle Aspekte des Transfers beim OAIS liegen

EXP: digital migration is distinguished from transfers in general by three attributes: a focus on the preservation of the full information content that needs preservation, a perspective that the new archival implementation of the information is a replacement for the old and an understanding that full control and responsibility over all aspects of the transfer resides with the OAIS

EXP: la migration numérique se distingue des autres types de transfert sur trois points : on vise la pérennisation de l’intégralité du contenu, on présuppose que l’information résultant de ce transfert est destinée à remplacer l’ancienne et on admet que l’OAIS dispose de la pleine maîtrise et responsabilité de tous les aspects du transfert
