Das Agrarinformationssystem GELAN steht seit 1999 in den Kantonen Bern, Fribourg und Solothurn im Einsatz. The agricultural information system GELAN has been in use since 1999 in the cantons of Bern, Fribourg, and Solothurn. Since then, it has been expanded to include 15 fully integrated subsystems, and area data collection takes place within a Geographic Information System (GIS). In addition to direct payments, GELAN supports the following regulatory areas: structural improvements, resource projects, nature conservation, animal welfare, animal disease law, water protection, and inspection services.

Depuis, il a été étendu à 15 sous-systèmes entièrement intégrés, et la collecte des données de surface s'effectue dans un système d'information géographique (SIG). Outre les paiements directs, GELAN soutient notamment les domaines suivants: améliorations structurelles, projets de ressources, protection de la nature, bien-être animal, droit des épizooties, protection des eaux et contrôle.

Da allora è stato ampliato fino a includere 15 sottosistemi completamente integrati, e la raccolta dei dati sulle superfici avviene tramite un Sistema Informativo Geografico (GIS). Oltre ai pagamenti diretti, GELAN supporta le seguenti aree di esecuzione: miglioramenti strutturali, progetti di risorse, protezione della natura, benessere animale, legislazione sulle epizoozie, protezione delle acque e controllo.
