LHN95 ist ein potentialtheoretisch strenges Höhensystem, das auch die kinematischen Phänomene (tektonische Hebung der Alpen) berücksichtigt. Ausgangspunkt von LHN95 ist der Fundamentalpunkt der neuen Landesvermessung in Zimmerwald.
