EXP: "INGO" ist die Abkürzung des englischen Terminus "international non-governmental organisation"; entsteht im Unterschied zu einer zwischenstaatlichen Organisation (IGO), d. h. einer "internationalen Organisation" im engeren Sinn, nicht durch ein Abkommen zwischen souveränen Staaten (a); bekannte Beispiele sind SOS Kinderdorf, Ärzte ohne Grenzen, Amnesty International, WWF und Greenpeace (b)
