Dabei entwickeln die Forschenden in Zusammenarbeit mit der Industrie innovative Technologien und Dienstleistungen für eine materielle, energetische und chemische Nutzung von holzbasierten Rohstoffen und orientieren sich an einem nachhaltigen Stoffkreislaufmanagement.

​Doté de 18 millions de francs, le Programme national de recherche "Ressource bois" (PNR 66) a pour objectif de fournir des bases scientifiques et des solutions pratiques pour optimiser la disponibilité et élargir l’exploitation de cette ressource qu’est le bois. En coopération avec l’industrie, les chercheuses et chercheurs développeront des technologies et services innovants. Leur objectif est d’exploiter le bois au niveau matériel, énergétique et chimique, dans le cadre d’une gestion durable de son cycle de vie.
